U-KISS’ first sub-unit uBEAT to debut this April



Idol group U-Kiss will be forming its first ever sub-unit!

The exciting news was announced through NH Media’s official Twitter account on April 8th. The agency confirmed, “U-Kiss’ AJ, Eli and Kevin to debut as a subunit called uBEAT at the end of this month.”

According to their agency, uBEAT will release a mini album at the end of April which will contain two ~ three songs excluding the intro. The title song will be produced by hitmaker Brave Brothers who also worked with U-Kiss’ hit song, “Man Man Ha Ni”.

BTOB are ready to melt hearts in new photo teaser for upcoming single, “Second Confession”


Cube Entertainment recently confirmed BTOB‘s comeback announcing their new song titled, “Second Confession“. The song is said to be perfect for the warm spring weather as a sweet confession song that music lovers of all ages will be able to relate to.

Earlier today Cube tweeted, “Day 2 Confession: sweet and warm transformation for the guys. Get ready to be melted by them“, along with the above photo. Rather than a charismatic concept, it seems the group is shooting for a more neighborly vibe, a perfect fit for the onset of Spring.

The song will start off with a narration, and it will include lyrics that depict the emotions of a man who is about to confess his feelings a second time to a lover he has parted with in the past.

The track is actually a thank you present from the boys to all the fans who have supported them for over a year. Although it sings of a man and his feelings for his past girlfriend, it also serves as a serenade from the boys of the group to their adoring fans!

M.I.B reveals tracklist and jacket for mini album ‘Money In The Building’



As reported earlier, M.I.B will finally be making their long awaited comeback, and additional details as well as album jacket photo have now been unveiled.

The hip hop group will release their second mini album ‘Money In The Building’ on April 10th. The group enlisted the help of talented and hip hop veterans for their return, with Tiger JK producing the album and MFBTY (Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae and Bizzy) featuring in the songs.

Ga In and Hyunwoo release mini album ‘Romantic Spring + “Brunch” MV


Returning with a duet album, Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga In released the full music video for duet track, “Brunch” featuring labelmate and former MBC ‘The Great Birth’ contestant, Choi Hyungwoo.

On April 8th, Ga In released her duet album ‘Romantic Spring’. Fitting for the spring season, this new album is filled with romantic lovely songs and story about falling in love with a woman in the spring.

The title song “Brunch” is a bright love song written by Jung Suk Won and lyricized by Kim Ea Na, and showcases Ga In’s different charms.

ZE:A to form second unit ZE:A 4U


Idol group ZE:A recently formed its unit group ZE:A5 and made successful debut in both Japan and Korea. The rest of the members who didn’t make it into unit will soon be meeting their fans as the group’s second unit group.

According to ZE:A’s official Japanese website, ZE:A members Junyoung, Kwanghee, Taeheon and Heecheol will be forming the “ZE:A 4U” unit and will embark on their Japanese promotions through a series of fan meetings in Tokyo, Japan.

ZE:A 4U members said, “We also want to make more events and performances where we can interact with more fans.”

15& makes their “Somebody” comeback on ‘K-Pop Star 2’


Rookie duo group 15& made their official comeback on the season finale of ‘K-Pop Star 2’ with their latest single “Somebody”.

“Somebody” is a track written by Shim Eunji who also wrote 15&’s debut single “I Dream”, and is co-composed by Ryan S. Jhun and Antwann Frost. The song features catchy melody, and Park Ji Min and Baek Ye Rin’s soulful voices.

Loen Entertainment‘s new girl group FIESTAR has revealed a behind-the-scenes clip from the group’s debut performance of “Vista“.

The BTS footage from LOEN TV takes fans backstage as the FIESTAR members prepare to perform for the first time on a weekly music program. The girls definitely seemed focused, nervous, and excited before their debut stage on last week’s ‘Music Bank‘.

TWO X releases “Double Up” dance practice clip


J.Tune Camp‘s new 5-member girl group TWO X have released a dance practice clip for their debut track “Double Up“.

TWO-X stands for “Top (T) Win(W) One(O)” and “X signifying multiply”, and the girls are more than determined to show their best to the public.The group is composed of members Jiyoo, Minjoo, Eun, Soorin, and Eunyoung.

Girls’ Generation’s 5th Japanese single revealed to be “Oh!”


The ladies of Girls’ Generation will be releasing their fifth Japanese single on September 26th.

We already knew that one of the tracks from their upcoming single was “All My Love is for You“. Now, it’s been revealed that the title track from their 5th Japanese single will be a Japanese remake of their hit track “Oh!“.

The new visuals and music video will be revealed through the official Girls’ Generation Japanese homepage and Facebook on September 14th.

The Chaku-Uta ringtone of “Oh!” will also be available through Recochoku on September 14th.

IU’s ideal type is still Big Bang’s Taeyang


On the September 1st broadcast of KBS 2TV‘s ‘Entertainment Relay‘, the crew met up with singer IU on the set of a shoot for a makeup brand.

In response to a question about her ideal type, IU stated, “My ideal type has always been the lead of every drama that comes out.” She then picked Big Bang‘s Taeyang, who she has revealed to be a fan of in the past, as her current, ultimate ideal type.

IU also commented on what it was like to be an endorsement model for a makeup brand for the first time: “They’re beauty cuts, so the shots are different.”

A-Peace releases “HERO” PV


Golden Goose Entertainment‘s idol group A-Peace has released their music video for “HERO“!

“HERO” is the title track of the group’s first Japanese album ‘Apeace‘, which will be released on September 26 JST in three different versions: Lapid, Jade, and Onyx. A-Peace released their debut single “Lover Boy” last year, and though all 21 members are Korean, the group has been active as three sub-units in Japan.

ZE:A tops music charts for the first time since debut with “Phoenix”


9 member idol group ZE:A climbed to the top of music charts for the first time since debuting nearly 3 years ago.

Kwanghee, Kevin, Siwan, Junyoung, Taeheon, Heechul, Minwoo, Hyunsik, and Dongjun released their new single “Phoenix” on August 27th. Within 4 hours, the song quickly climbed to the #1 spot and still maintains a high rank on the major Korean music site, Bugs Music.

The boys debuted in January of 2010 and made themselves further known as the members each took up individual activities and promotions, including variety programs and drama appearances. ZE:A also boasts high popularity in the rest of Asia, but this is the first time their song has ranked #1 on online music charts, and this accomplishment has brought great joy to the group.

Their agency Star Empire had written via ZE:A’s official Twitter page, “ZE:A’s “Phoenix” has ranked #1 on Bugs’ real time chart! The ZE:A members who were really excited wanted to convey their grateful hearts to all of you ZE:A’s.”

“Phoenix” is a song which members Dongjun, Junyoung, and Minwoo have participated in penning the lyrics for, and it is a French-pop style track that consists of synth sounds, and acoustic guitar.

Dongjun remarked, “I am more attached to this song because the members and I wrote the lyrics for it, and now that we ranked #1, it is much more loveable. We will more thoroughly prepare for our stage, so please look forward to it!”

In related news, ZE:A will be putting on their first “Phoenix” performance on Mnet’s ‘M! Countdown’ on August 30th.
